  Taking your iPod along for the ride just became a lot easier. The iPod Adapter integrates your iPod to your Mazda with crystal clear sound and built in battery charger. Compatible with most 30-pin, dock connector equipped iPods.

  When installed in late model Mazda's, it will allow a way to seamlessly integrate your Apple iPodsî into your newer Mazda vehicle! The iPod Integration Module will:

  • Install directly into the Mazda Modular Radio head unit (iPod not included)
  • Mount neatly out of sight behind the dash (iPod is connected/placed in the glovebox or console)
  • Provide easy hook up to most iPod's with a 30 pin docking connector on the bottom
  • Transfer control of the iPod to the vehicle radio or steering wheel controls (if so equipped)
  • Charge the iPod battery (most ipods)

  IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Not compatible with the iPhone and some versions of the iPod (see attached applicability chart)

  2. See the application guides on page 2 - 5 for vehicle model application and iPod model compatibility

  3. Through 2008MY, if vehicle is equipped with SIRIUS Satellite Kit or PhatNoise® accessories, the iPod Integration Module CANNOT be installed. (Satellite Kit or PhatNoise already uses the head unit connector). The exception is the 2008 Mazda5 (and 2008 Mazda3s built on or after January 1, 2008) which can accommodate multiple audio components.

  1. The Auxiliary Jack is NOT an available accessory for retrofit in older Mazdas 5. The iPod Integration Module cannot be installed on the following models equipped with the factory In-Dash Navigation option:

  Any CX-7 with 7" touch screen Navigation

  Any CX-9 prior to 2009MY

  2008-2010 Mazda5

  2013 Mazda3
